It contains sponge, its handy design makes it ideal to perform water-saturated air (100%) calibration procedure in laboratory environment. While calibrating, it is important for accurate results to ensure having the sensor surface temperature and Thermistor measured temperature to be same thus rendering this accessory not appropriate for field use.
