The QuenchGone21 Wastewater (QG21W) test kit from LuminUltra will help you to achieve a new level of process stability and cost-efficiency in your biological wastewater treatment process! Based on 2nd Generation ATP technology, this test kit provides you with accurate determination of active biomass concentration (cATP), population stress levels (BSI), and suspended solids activity (ABR) in less than five minutes. By monitoring these quantities alongside your other process data, you can prevent upsets, manage toxicity, streamline operations, and save money. The QG21W test kit pairs with the PhotonMaster™ luminometer and LumiCalc™ software for seamless data acquisition and interpretation.
Cellular ATP (cATP™) measures ATP from living microorganisms; a direct indication of the living population. Biomass Stress Index (BSI™) measures the stress level experienced by the microbiological population. Active Biomass Ratio (ABR™) measures the percentage of bioreactor solids that are active microorganisms.
Once target thresholds for cATP are established, cATP results provide a basis for operational stability, optimization, and continuous improvement of a wastewater treatment process. BSI provides an early warning of impending process problems and stressful conditions (i.e. toxicity). Maximizing the ABR provides many benefits such as enhanced sludge quality and improved settling.
The QG21W test kit delivers results in 5 minutes and is easy to perform by anyone using the included step-by-step instructions.
